Juniors

The Junior Male and Female caters for all new members and existing members. A fantastically run and well organised Junior set up which specialises in both Track and Field events. It is requested that upon arrival to the Track that a £1.50 fee is paid for the use of the Track. Annual sub cost is £10.

On arrival new Juniors will given the opportunity to try different events to find the one that suits them and will be introduced to the correct coaches. The different coaches may run a second training night and this will be confirmed depending on availability.

Please Note: Mini Spartans finish up for Summer Holidays on Tuesday 7th July and resume back on Templemore Track on 8th September. Post Primary Older Juniors Summer Break TBC

  1. Bridgeen, what age do the kids have to be before they start? My eldest two are 8 and would be interested in joining. What do they have to do to join?

  2. my son is 11 yrs old post primary – which nights or night is best to attend at the minute? he would be more of a sprinter and interested in long jump but wants to try anything. I ran for sparta myself many moons ago – a great club!!!!!
