At tonight’s Reach Running Clubs 5K in Strathfoyle Spartans were again at the forefront in both the men’s and ladies race. Spartans Cathal Logue and local man Kyle Doherty along with young Spartan Liam George were first to show at the 1km mark. Young Liam George finished will in 7th running 18.26. Spartan Philip Donaghy 18.46┬áhad a good run also making up the top 10. Hannah Shields swapped the mountains for the 5K and made it a Spartan double as she was the female winner in 19.03 Janeen Leese had arguably her best race ever making the podium as third female in 2037 followed by Ciara Fraser who ran 2045 for fourth girl and Bridgeen Canavan fifth girl in 2115. Well done to all.
