Sarah Kivelehan continued her recent sparkling form with a convincing win at Tuesday night’s Raphoe 5km. Sarah ran a swift 19 mins 36 secs to take first prize in the open ladies’ section and 4 seconds ahead of teammate Joe Mc Carthy on 19 mins 40 secs who once again took second prize in the 50 plus category.

Both deserve credit for taking up the challenge of two races in three days and no doubt Sarah’s coach and recent First Class Honours Graduate Dara Furey, will be aiming to take her to the next level in the near future.

Action now moves to Rathmullan on Thursday night where City of Derry ladies will travel in strength to challenge for honours under the direction of Dara. Good luck to all!!!
